Digital inclusion – Without a doubt the most inclusive gift

This is without a doubt the most inclusive year-end gift that we have ever given you. Prisma is donating to Digital Inclusion. This association’s goal is to integrate everyone digitally by refurbishing and distributing donated computers to those in need.

The Digital Inclusion team welcomed the Prisma team at their premises.

Digital Inclusion

Digital Inclusion is a non-profit organization seeking to help everybody in Luxembourg get access to information technology and computing. The organisation that was founded in 2016 helps refugees to gain access to digital tools like second-hand computer and smartphones. They also work with Cents Buttek (an organisation that helps people in need with food and other necessities). Their mission is based on three pillars: Helping people in Luxembourg getting access to the digital world, promoting social inclusion, and supporting the circular economy.

Social inclusion today requires digital tools and the knowledge how to use them. They offer classes for digital literacy and even have a special Digital Citzenship course to make life as a citizen easier. More than 10 languages and are available in various skill levels.

To promote a circular economy, they improve the ecological footprint of decommissioned IT devices by extending their life cycle for vulnerable populations. The computer repair and re-use workshop is built around a participative approach.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We strongly believe that we all have a role to play when it comes to social responsibility, whether big or small. Corporate Social Responsibility is a part of our identity, be it social, economical or environmental, in everything that we do. We are proud to support Digital Inclusion.
